Managing the Schedule

Now that you know your way around the plugin, let’s get to know more about the Schedule.

Allocating Regular Slots

Managers can allocate a regular weekly slot to a DJ / Presenter. On the Schedule Page:

  • Find the relevant slot
  • Click on the time displayed in the top-left corner of the slot
  • Select the DJ from the drop down list that appears

The slot has been allocated. It is no longer available for other DJs / Presenters and will be reflected across the site immediately.

Taking Slots

A DJ /Presenter can request to take slots very easily. On the Schedule Page:

  • Find the relevant slot(s)
  • Click the button labelled ‘Add me here’

Dealing with absence

On occasion, DJs / Presenters will be unable to play their regular slot(s). When this happens, their slot needs to be cleared temporarily so that another DJ /Presenter may stand in.

DJs /Presenters who will be absent

A DJ /Presenter who will be unable to play their regular slot(s) should mark themselves away. On the Schedule Page:

  • Find the relevant slot(s)
  • Click the button labelled ‘Mark me as Away’

Upon return, the DJ /Presenter simply goes back to the Schedule Page:

  • Find the relevant slot(s)
  • Click the button labelled ‘Mark me as Playing’

In the event of a DJ / Presenter failing (forgetting) to mark themselves away, any Manager or Operator can perform the task instead.
